We are very pleased to announce that Ohio University will be fielding a team in the ACHA Division 2 starting this fall and it has accepted membership to the Tri-State Collegiate Hockey League (TSCHL) for the 2011-2012 season. Ohio University is a wonderful addition as the program has a rich hockey tradition including four ACHA Division 1 National Championship titles.
Thank you to Dan Morris, Ohio University’s Division 1 Head Coach, who was instrumental in forming the team and bringing it to the TSCHL.
The 2010-2011 season will be the inaugural campaign for the TSCHL and it will consist of two league games between each of the following member teams:
· University of Akron
· University of Cincinnati
· University of Dayton
· Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP)
· University of Toledo
· University of Pittsburgh
· West Virginia University
· Wright State University
The TSCHL Playoff Tournament will be held during the weekend of March 4-6, 2011 in a location that is to be determined. The future league website is www.tschlhockey.com and it will be launched in August.
